Microneedling uses very fine needles to prompt your skin's own collagen. Talk to Carolina about texture, fine lines or acne scarring, and plan a series that suits your skin.
Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, uses a pen with very fine needles to make tiny channels in the skin. Your skin responds by starting its own repair and making new collagen and elastin, the proteins behind smooth, firm-feeling skin. People choose it for fine lines, texture, enlarged pores and acne scarring, and as a way to refresh their skin without fillers.
Microneedling can suit many skin types and tones, because it doesn't rely on heat or light. The face is the usual focus, and the neck and chest can be added to a session. If you have active acne, a skin infection or a history of raised scarring, tell Carolina first.
Carolina cleanses your skin, may apply numbing cream, then sets the needle depth for each area with the Collagen P.I.N. pen. Most people describe a light scratching or vibrating feeling. Afterward your skin will feel warm and look pink, a bit like a mild sunburn.
Expect redness and tightness for one to three days. Your skin may then feel dry or a little rough as it settles. Follow the aftercare for makeup, sun and skincare, and try not to book a session the day before a big event.
Collagen takes time to build, so changes appear gradually in the weeks after each session and can keep improving after your series ends. That's why we usually recommend three sessions, spaced a few weeks apart. Results vary from person to person.
Add a regenerative serum with microneedling with exosomes, or ask about pairing with a peel for acne scarring. For lines caused by movement, see Botox; for lost volume, see dermal fillers.

The pen we use: Collagen P.I.N.
The device we use
A 36-pin microneedling device.
Every microneedling session at The Wellness Reeset uses the Collagen P.I.N. by Induction Therapies. Its 36-pin cartridge adjusts from 0.1 mm to 3.0 mm deep, so Carolina can set the depth for each area of your face. The cordless pen uses high-frequency vibration for a smoother, more comfortable pass. Expect redness and tightness for one to three days afterward.
Treatment suitability and results vary. A clinical assessment comes first.
